Flos Iceland moss 50 g

A natural herbal raw material in the form of dried Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica (L.) Ach.). Iceland moss is traditionally used in herbal medicine to prepare infusions. It contains natural mucilage compounds that, upon contact with water, form a delicate coating. Iceland moss infusion is traditionally used to maintain throat and oral comfort, especially during periods of increased respiratory distress.

METHOD OF PREPARATION AND USE

Infusion: pour 250 ml of cold or lukewarm water over about 1 teaspoon of crushed Iceland moss (about 1–2 2 g ).

Leave to soak for about 1–2 hours, then bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Once cooled, strain. Drink the infusion 1–2 times daily, preferably freshly prepared.
